A few weeks ago I had the real privilege of meeting my political hero – Lady Thatcher. My meeting with Lady Thatcher was a real reminder as to why she was one of the greatest political leaders of our country and a formidable lady in every way. Which brings me onto Lady Thatcher’s recorded message on the 25th anniversary of the retaking of the Falkland Islands tomorrow. I was a kid at the time of the Falklands conflict, however my resounding memory of that time was the wave of national pride inspired by the
liberation of the Falkland Islands. Without a doubt, Lady Thatcher’s message reminds us all of her formidable leadership, as well as the bravery of our armed forces in recovering the Falkland Islands during that very difficult time.
